Current Events Rubric 5 - Assignment is clearly written and contains all important and pertinent information in the summary  including the who, what, why, where, when and how of each news story. The analysis portion is thorough,  coherent and well reasoned using adequate supporting information. It is either word processed or neatly  composed in blue or black ink and has no spelling or grammatical errors. There is a headline, date of  news story, a source citation and the name of the student.  4 - Assignment is clearly written and contains the important and pertinent information in the summary  including the who, what, why, where, when and how of each news story. The analysis portion makes a  reasonable effort to assess the significance of the news story. It is neat and readable with two or less
