This semester we will be traveling the globe focusing on places, cultures, ideas, varied climates, people, flora, fauna, topography, ways of life, and especially the manner in which it is all connected. Supplies Crayons/markers or colored pencils for maps and projects Two spiral notebooks (or one large spiral with a divider). One is for journals and the other is for notetaking. A three ring notebook for notes and projects; please try and have these by Monday, January 10 th . Grading Policy 70% = Summative Grades (Exams, major assessments and major projects) 20% = Formative Grades (Homework and work completed in class) 10% = Participation and Practice (Weekly participation grades and quizzes) o All work should be turned in on time, although each student will be issued one late pass to allow for one...
