The focus of this course is on the structure and evolution of stars, galaxies, and the universe itself. PREREQUISITIES Calculus and a first-year introductory physics sequence. READING ASSIGNMENT Reading assignments will be made. Quizzes will be given on the assigned material at random times. There will be no make-up quizzes. The three lowest quiz scores will be dropped in deriving the final quiz grade. HOMEWORK
