It is designed to provide enhanced insights into the elements of business and financial planning for successful entrepreneurs in various forms of business ownership for all products and/or services. The interest and belief in entrepreneurship is sweeping the world, based upon the individual premise, spirit and desire to successfully own and operate a business. Thus students will gain a formal understanding of the skills and attributes necessary for success as a domestic and/or global independent business professional. In this course the primary focus is to help students understand the process of analyzing a business opportunity, determining feasibility of an idea utilizing research, developing a plan to organize and promote the business and its products/services, and finally, to understand the capital required, the return on investment desired, and the potential for profit. Learning Objectives The basic objective of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the theories and principles of entrepreneurship, the processes of new venture business development and management, and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh context, with special reference to international engagement.
