One factor that I have found to be prevalent is the “Groupthink” which by definition is a group (i.e. Teachers, Administrators) will often go with the flow of what is going on in order to avoid conflict, especially with those that are affluent in the community. The authority figures do not want to be the ones to come under attack from people who shape our communities and necessary job positions. Another factor that I noticed is “Trend” for me this is what I call “following the herd.” One of the boys in the story decided that he wanted to rent a tux for the event, which had never been done before. He probably told his friends and they decided that they would all do it. This also leads into a “Charisma” factor. His charming way of getting his friends to follow in line, however, this also is the parent’s factors as well, because they said it was “cute” and they followed the first boys’ idea of wanting to wear a tux. The last factor that was clear by the end of the story would be “Emotion.” This is a
