In the 90’s America and the World had some defining moments that went down in history. Most of the moments were that of repeating history of wars, turmoil of a country, and even a President embarrassment. In 1990 we went to war again, this time in Saudi Arabia called the Gulf War. Saddam Hussein accused Kuwait of not paying up for gas revenues and stealing from an oil field. He decided to send in 100,000 troops, which then condemned Iraq by the Arab League, the Soviets, and the United States which caused us to send in 500,000 of our troops to defend Saudi Arabia from an invasion from Hussein. A year after all this happened the Soviet Union fell apart by Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia declaring their independence, which they did not receive a fight. This was the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union, and 15 separate republics were granted their independence. In 1993 America saw something it had not seen before, a self proclaimed prophet. A man named David Koresh; he led a cult in Waco, Texas. The Alcohol, Tobacco and Fire
