The so-called  tunnel house art installation  was, as many good works of architectural art are, born as  much of circumstance as of creativity. A pair of people saw that the building was going to be demolished  and took it upon them to make something spectacular out of the structure in its final days. Using pieces  from the to-be-destroyed house itself, these artists crafted a tunnel that pierces through the home and  takes visitors into a broad vortex then expels them through a small hole in back. The impact on the street
