WEB SITES SEARCH 2 Web Sites Search The first stock I chose to review is Microsoft. Microsoft has the symbol of MSFT and is traded on the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation (NASDAQ). The website where I located the stock dividend and stock split information is: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=MSFT&a=02&b=13&c=1986&d=02&e=28&f=2011&g=v. Upon review of the historical prices, Microsoft had several stock splits in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Several stock splits were 2:1 and two were 3:2, which occurred on Jun 27, 1991 and June 15, 1992 respectively. Since 2003, Microsoft has paid dividends on a consistent basis. The second stock I chose to review is McDonald’s. McDonald’s has the symbol of MCD and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The website where I located the stock dividend and stock split information is: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp? s=MCD&a=00&b=2&c=1970&d=02&e=28&f=2011&g=v. Upon review of the historical prices, McDonald’s did have three stock splits which occurred on June 19, 1989, June 27, 1994, and March 8, 1999. McDonald’s has consistently paid out dividends.
