Scope Statement Project Scope Description: To reformulate and install a Virtual Menu Integration (VMI) system into a Red Robin restaurant. Train servers to use VMI and answer guest concerns with VMI. To reduce ticket time of when order is placed and when food is served to guest. To reduce the effects of human error when taking orders. The project is targeted to start in March 2011 and finish in April 2012. Project Acceptance Criteria: The VMI will not require much training on servers due to the fact that servers already use a similar system. Training will focus on guest relations through using VMI. VMI will be a reformulated ordering system to become guest friendly. Current servers will be trained to use VMI and answer guest concerns, including through mock trial training. Project Deliverables: Monitors and tablets installed at booths and tables respectively, connected to LAN. Back-up tablets for system malfunctions.
