Globalization is a very complex issue. There was a time that globalization dealt with impacting the economy positively, free trade, and plentiful resources. However, in recent events, globalization has generated some negative aspects of business such as uneven distribution of labor and Third World outsourcing. Globalization, thus, presents a more obvious nature and even more further complex nature. With globalization, laws can change and individuals will gain on more due to capitalism. However, it takes time to change laws and further globalization can further widen the gap between individual economies. Overall, globalization is either exciting and brings new and exotic ideas to the table, or it is dangerous and threatens humanity. The reading "Rebuilding Brand America: Corporate America's Role" develops the idea that American businesses are not doing enough to face a globalized world.
