I would have, however, written her up and given her a warning. Most people have private email addresses and should not use their work email for personal use. It is very easy to access your personal email through the internet and I feel it is OK to use that personal email during breaks or lunch time. If an employer was denied the right to review employees email, employees may take advantage of that and spend lots of time emailing rather than being productive. They could also invite viruses into the businesss computer system which could ultimately destroy important company data. CHAPTER 1 QUESTIONS AND CASE PROBLEMS 2.FERPA gives parents and children over the age of 18 certain rights regarding the childs education records. Parents/over 18 child have the RIGHT to ask the school to correct records education records....
