Vu Nguyen Enl-003-015 2 March 2011 Extra Credit Before going to the extra credit presentation on Joshua E.S. Phillip’s book None Of Us Were Like This Before ,” I stood lost with the position America stood in the war with Iraq. The presentation changed my perspective about American military and answered my questions concerning our American soldiers having maximum protection, machinery and power to fight against any country. From the presentation Phillips presented and answered several questions concerning the torture and abuse that Americans soldiers experience. Phillips continued and described that the American soldiers suffered from the violent and gory images from Guantanamo. He described that these images torture American soldiers and caused them to become suicidal and cause brain damage. This information changed my perspective on American military. It made me connect to the emotional issues my cousins and relatives experienced for years when they were in the army. I felt as if my cousins and relatives
