Sammy Hanson English 101 Paul DK 9/13/10 “Google” Your Worst Nightmare When I started reading “Is Google Making us Stupid?” the first thing I agreed with the the writer, Nicholas Carr, was people think this new technology is helping us and making us smarter, but the truth of the mater is, this new technology is only making us more impatient and distracted. Personally I believe this doesn’t effect all people, but in some cases like mine it does. When I was in high school I can not tell you how many times I was stuck on a homework problem where I didn't know the answer to the question. My solution to that problem was go on the internet and type the question into google and “BAM” there it was. I can not say this is the correct way to answer your question when you are stuck, but in high school it was mine, and because of that I wouldn't remember any of the material I was writing down, now what good is that.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
