Midterm Exam Study Guide A History of the United States in the World HIS 410.01v Spring 2019 The midterm exam will be divided into 2 major parts. In the first part, there will 3 different kinds of short answer questions. You will not be allowed to use notes or books during this part. Definitions (20 points) - You will be given 4 short paragraphs, each describing one of the terms. You must provide the term that best fits each description given. IDs (20 points) - You will be given a list of 10 terms, and be asked to choose 4 of them to identify. You must write a paragraph that defines the term, explains what it is, and includes its significance to studying American History. Chronology (10 points) You will be provided with two sets of 5 terms, for each set, you will indicate the chronological order of the 5 terms, with 1 point for each correct term. The second part will be an essay. Once you finish the first part of the exam, you will hand it in and receive your sheet for the second part of the exam.
