The office worker The office worker obviously believes that if he wasn’t taking pay for the time he was not at the job that it was not wrong in the least. The office worker requested additional leave without pay; the supervisor was the one responsible for all of the short comings it the office. The low morale in the office that was caused by the office worker not being at the office like normal was not his fault in the least. Was the office worker right to take off this extra time without pay? The facts we have about the office worker don’t specify why he took off. There could have been any number of reasons for the office worker to take off such as a sick person in his family. Whether his reason was a serious one or not, the office worker felt that he was entitled to take additional time off without pay. Why did he feel that he was entitled to take of this extra time from his job? First of all his job did not owe him anything in terms of time or money. There was no reason for the
