Assignment: Pronoun Practice (Due Day 4) Resource: Weekly Readings Write several sentences (at least 200 words), double-spaced, describing a recent interaction with a friend or family member about personal finance or credit cards. This interaction may be imagined or real. Use at least five different pronouns in your sentences. Identify the five different pronouns used by bolding them. My husband, O'Neil came home from a week long business trip to find our kitchen counter piled with mail, bills to be exact, along with our answering machine flashing like crazy due to all of the messages we had gotten from debt collectors. Some of you may wonder why I didn't take the calls or open the bills. This reason is quite simple, I didn't want to. When he got all of his things put down he brought his suitcase to our bedroom to find me and our kids watching a movie.

Unformatted text preview: After a brief hello to the kids, we went down to the kitchen to sort through the mess. We separated it into two piles, Chase and Capital One. He took on Chase and I took on Capital One. We talked through the whole thing, not only serious talk but also laughing a bit. We came to the conclusion we needed to consolidate our debt and wanted to also include our two vehicle payments as well as our mortgage. I decided to call a great friend of ours, Ava, who has been through debt consolidation before. We found out after talking to her we could save about $1200 per month by consolidating our debt. She was so helpful to us that day we decided to have her and her husband over for dinner one night with us . We all decided that this debt consolidation would be the best route for my husband and me since we still had four children to put through college....
