My Experience There have been many experiences that were both positive and negative, that have impacted the course of my life. There are four negative events that happened in my childhood, which I think changed, me forever. The first event I still don’t talk about, the second event was my dad dying when I was only seven years old, the third event was my childhood home burning down when I was 12 years old, and the fourth event was my niece being in a fire, which she almost died in. Yes I do think these events changed my personality on a deeper level because they made me more careful and afraid that I could lose the people that I love. Dealing with death at such an early age affected my personality on many different levels, such as it is probably why I am so neurotic and why I have trouble trusting in people. How much of my personality do I think has been determined by environmental influence vs.

I grew up in the same household as my siblings did but they are completely different from me, for example while my personality is introversion, my siblings personalities are more extroversion. Another example of how I from differ from my siblings so much is that I generally see others as selfish, devious, and sometimes potentially dangerous but they do not, in fact they often give people the benefit of the doubt. While I tend to dislike confrontations, they love to confront people. Another example is while I feel a moral obligation to do the right thing; they do not feel that way at all. In fact they haven’t always set the best examples for me to follow....
