The article comes from a credible source because the article was based on findings from a psychologist and scientist Suzanne Segerstrom by Todd Schwartz.

Optimism and Health Paper 2 The article itself is about how positive psychology does in fact affect our body’s immune system and our physical health. The article goes on to explain how optimism affected the first year of law school students mood and immune changes in a test of 90 students. Even though at the beginning of the first semester there was no change; between the law students; who were optimistic, and those who were pessimistic but halfway through the semester, there was more than a slight change in the students. Such as the optimists had more helper T cells (the “conductors” of the immune system, which direct and amplify immune responses and are believed to be more important in immunity against viral infection and some types of cancer) than pessimists had. They also showed higher “natural killer cell cytotoxicity ”, which reflects the ability of T-cells to actually kill cancer cells in the laboratory (Schwartz, 2005, para 6). These studies thus, lead Segerstrom and Todd Schwartz the writer of the article to believe that their conclusions about optimism being a leading factor in the
