4/27/11 Chem 233 Orientation and Operational Issues 4 General work flow for each experiment – Prelab Quiz – Accessible on course website one week before each lab begins Access closes at start of your lab section; completion gets you 10 points Prelab Document – Prepare in your lab notebook before lab; see lab manual for a good example Must be complete, shown to your TA and initialed to get starting materials Lab Experiment Itself – Come to lab on time to listen to TA prelab instructions Be well prepared; know ahead of time what you need to do; be efficient in use of time You will share a workstation with another student, but record your own observations and notes in your notebook
