What should you do? Newspaper reporters Newspaper reporters get information first, and go into depth in their writing. Magazine writers Magazine writers focus on ideas and trends, with greater emphasis on the writing. Broadcast journalists Broadcast journalists have to think about sound and video, and they must be able to be concise when delivering information. Photojournalists Photojournalists must understand news but also be creative. Online journalists Online journalists must be comfortable telling stories using different media.
