Foreign tourists  stay longer  and spend more money than their  domestic counterparts. When tourists visit the United States, they have the opportunity to  develop a better understanding of this country, which  benefits  diplomacy abroad . We are the only country in the world that  doesn't spend money  promoting itself -America has  fallen from the No. 1  tourist country  Special Report-H&MM
