Assignment 4-2 Six-Sigma Quality Management Pazza Notte is an Italian restaurant located in the heart of Manhattan, New York city in one of the busiest locations in the area. The restaurant is one of the busiest restaurants, yet it is facing the problem of sudden departure of the customers after placing the order without an explanation. Another issue is returning the food because there was error in tacking the order. These are serious problems for a restaurant that possesses all the success factors, which includes serving one of the best Italian foods in the town and the strategic location close to the Central park, where hundreds of tourist frequent daily. These issues have cost the restaurant money and reputation, what prompts the management to conduct analyses to identify the cause of the problems and errors in order to find a solution. To address this issue, the six-sigma strategy will be employed by implementing DMAIC. Therefore, this project will D efine the issues based on a survey conducted by the restaurant in 2007, M easure the currant process, A nalyze the available data to identify the cause of the problem and find a potential solution that may lead to I mprove the process and resolve the problem, and C ontrol the process by maintaining the improvement.
