Biased language -I think this is a good definition for this word. “presents information in a way that shows preference for or against a certain point of view, shows prejudice, or is demeaning to others. Biased language usually refers to the use of words that intentionally or unintentionally offend people or express negative attitudes concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, religion,sexual orientation, age, disability, or illness. This type of language has no place in professional or academic situations and should also be avoided in personal communication. Biased language is not objective; rather, it is offensive, negative, and reveals an individual’s prejudices.Such language thus obstructs open-minded communication and cooperation between individuals and communities.”(Bevan, 2020). Share an example of biased language you have seen in some computer-mediated interaction. I think a good example of biased language is when people go to work or school and get bullied. Iknow being a vicmas of biased language makes me feel helpless. I know it makes people feel
