The general guideline for doing assignments is that you must convince us that you know what you're doing. You can discuss homeworks with other members of the class, the professor or the TAs. However, do not look at or copy anyone else's solutions. See the Syllabus for our cheating policy. Please staple all your pages together. Turn in the assignment in the HW boxes. The HW boxes are located in the east end of the basement of Siebel Center (near the vending machines). Please do not submit it anywhere else. You may turn in the assignment up to24 hours after the due date i.e. by Thursday, Feb 24, at 5:00pm , but you will receive a 20% late penalty . Homework will NOT be accepted after this (as this is when we will post the solutions). See the syllabus for our late policy. Feel free to ask us questions at office hours or on the newsgroup. There is one LogicWorks problem, Q5, in this homework. o A LogicWorks tutorial will be given this Friday, Feb 18, during the review session. Information on using Logicworks is also available on the course website. o We have tried to ensure that everyone registered for the class has an EWS account. If you cannot login to the EWS workstations, let the TAs know immediately so you have enough time to complete the LogicWorks Problem. o You'll be using the EWS Windows XP labs. Detailed information about the labs can be found on the lab schedules from EWS Homepage. o
