Jerod Lane The Nike Experiment: How the Shoe Giant Unleashed the Power of Personal Metrics Nike is a company that aims they’re products at their customers in a way that will make their customers feel more confident and assured that if they buy the product it will make their life more convenient, and the latest product produced by Nike is a big hit because of that reason. The world of exercise and motivation has now been reduced to a small sensor placed in ones shoe to give them motivation to feel better and look better giving them a boost and desire to go workout. The product called Nike+ evolved from a large box that the person would have to carry around to a small sensor they put in the sole of their shoe and simply go workout. The sensor keeps track of peak performance times of working out and shoes the individual they’re progress as they sync they’re Nike+ to the computer. Nike has attracted millions of people through the marketing of working out.

Executive business mangers use them daily when traveling from meetings to meetings and because of their liking of this more money is now being invested in Nike to advance this product even more. Nike is advancing from clothes to shoes to now workout programs. They are opening their minds and expanding their ideas to further their product line even more and get even farther into leading the nation in sales and stock. Nike is now offering complementary products to top university athletes to see the change in their workout efforts and doing extensive research to really see the impact this product has.
