CMPS260 Fall 2006 Programming Project #5 (Stacks & Queues) DUE DATES: Submission: Wednesday Nov. 29 th @ 10:00 pm. Folder: Thursday Nov. 30 th in class NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED The task is to write a simulator for the operation of a small airline service called Wave Top Airlines. WTA ferries tourists from the island of Kaua’i to the main airport on Oahu. They use small planes and run on a tight budget. They don’t want to keep more planes in service than they need but they also don’t want passengers to wait so long that they get mad and go over to Crazy Earl’s Inter Island Kayaks. INPUT: The program will require input from two data files. FILE 1: The first file will be named plane.data . It will contain data in the following format: Line 1: The plane ID (string) Line 2: The plane’s passenger capacity (int) Line 3: The plane’s weight capacity in pounds (int) There will be only one record in the file for each plane. Since the hangar at WTA is small, there will be no more than 5 records in the file. FILE 2:
