Unformatted text preview: you have CERD ( Gastroesophageal reflux disease) I think that I have to agree with the doctor on this one because if patients dont have any kind of symptoms of the hiatal hernia then there is no need to treat them. When a patients has the symptoms they will take a health test and see what is causing the hiatal hernia and the doctor can also suggest to have surgery done to eliminate the problem. In conclusion I think that this kind of disease is very important to get treated because if it is not treated it can lead to bigger problems down the road and then it might not be able to fix the problem. If anyone has heartburn every time they eat a certain kind of food or drink something they need to see a physician right away...
