Rollins- 7 pm in BSC 351 Human rights c. Kponee- Black Student Alliance. Went to Memphis, TN for cultural extravaganza to learn more about black history and social diversity. i. Experiences/Projects going on: 1. Greenwood Culture Center “The Black Wallstreet” – Dedicated to the hundreds of black men and women who were successful based form the 1920’s. Tulsa community who were ignorant of African american’s freedom. A riot broke out broke out which was one of the largest in Tulsa, all of it was over black/white issues. d. Salazar- Problems e. Rollins- NBACP Oct. 22 nd in Bauman Everheart center admission is $25 Basketball f. Grillot- Alternative to death penalty in Whool ballroom tonight 7pm i. Tomorrow Social justice same time/place g. GUEST Kramer- Oct 23 rd 830-2pm for service sites. Sign up for community service APO- service fraternity. h. Ryan- Irish Student Guild purchase a t-shirt contact him for one and do Irish dance lessons. JOIN!!!! i. Mya Johnson GUEST- Visit the bread café because it’s non-profit. Downtown Clayton, across from the police station and across from the jail. If someone comes in and order, but pay only what your capable, and the overall payment is only suggested. Helps feed people and college kids. They also take volunteers and donations. j. Sondag- Women’s volleyball next week, and women’s soccer Saturday night. VII. Old Business VIII. New Business a. (SB) - 010-11 Vice President Janczewski Bill to provide the Korean Student Association with spot funding i. Requested spot funding for a trip to Minnesota, and requested it during annual funding last year but the location was not known. They could not foresee the location, which is why it falls under spot funding.

ii. Annual conference, APIA Asian Pacific Islander Association. This conference informs universities about evens surrounding APIA and other Asian cultures. It’s important because: KSA has had a student body of about 20 people, but doubled that this year. Provides leadership and representation for SLU to other universities in the Midwest. MOST IMPORTANT- informing students at SLU about what is going on with Pacific Islanders and racial issues surrounding them. Legacy aspect, students
