Not Steve and Steve Adam and Eve Not Steve and Steve The constitution of marriage since the beginning of time was to be design for man and woman. Over the years or should I say centuries things changed and the natural use for marriage was never the same. In the book Consider Ethics; Waller, Bruce N. on pages 297-303, John Covino debates homosexual relations, and he actually thinks these relationships are legitimate. Covino argues that it would be natural for two people of the same gender to have sexual relations, and be it born that way or a lifestyle choice. Covino thinks because they were born that way gives them the right (being naturally born) to have sexual relations with the same sex person. Covino throws away the concept of procreation and instead favors sexual pleasure. Covino tells of the obstacles that face homosexuals such as Aids, social ostracism, physical violence, fear of admitting one was a homosexual, promiscuity, and the inward turmoil associated with “coming out”. The denial of legal marriage for homosexuals must have been more upsetting than everything else the homosexual must have faced. However, the homosexual fails to realize that God as an institution ordained marriage for man and woman. In Genesis, Chapter 2, Verses 18-24, The Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone I will make him a helper fit for him”. It goes on to say in the Bible that “And the rib which the Lord had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to man (vs.22). In addition, the Bible says, “Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh”. Now the Bible being the oldest book ever written and God the beginning of life made woman for man. That is natural. Homosexuality goes against what God ordained. The Bible clearly states in Leviticus 18:22 “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. 2

Not Steve and Steve Covino concludes that “Because two people of the same gender are together if they are happy then they are better people and that is good for everyone”. This is still not acceptable of course, they would be happy and what concludes because they are happy their homosexuality would be good for everyone. In fact, this position poses problems for everyone around the homosexuals. John M. Finnis wrote that in Europe they have a legal standard to regulate sexual conduct, which discourages homosexuality. Finnis says that a European Court of Human Rights that “The state is not authorized to, and does not, make it a punishable offense for consenting adults to engage, in private, in immoral sexual acts”. Finnis further says, “On the other hand, states do have the authority to discourage, homosexual conduct and orientation”. Therefore, homosexuality is everywhere and each state governs as to their laws.
