Identify and list five behaviors that you have observed others perform that seemed odd or different to you. For each item in the list, answer the following questions: Five behaviors I view as odd – 1. Staring at people 2. Interrupting the person talking (e.g. finishing what they think is the persons thought) 3. Rolling a tissue up and stuffing it in their nose 4. Wringing hands constantly 5. Always saying “Good Stuff” 1. What happened when you observed this behavior? Made me uncomfortable, I wanted to know why someone would do that. 2. Where did the behavior occur? Seen it at the office, in meetings, gatherings, etc. 3. How did you interpret the behavior at the time and how do you interpret it now? I just thought it was odd, as I sit here now and think about it and respond to it in this manner, I am realizing it is just what makes us all different and what is comfortable for one person may not be comfortable for another. 4. What effect did your unfamiliarity have on the interaction?
