Expansion of Product Line Being the marketing directors, we believe that to strengthen UNIQLO’s position in the Korean market, it should expand physically as well as expand its product line. UNIQLO will need to target more segments in the market to make sure it always stays ahead of its competitors. According to research, we suggest that UNIQLO in Korea should cater for the Universities. All universities in the world customize their clothing. These clothing are usually T-shirts, Jackets, and Sweatshirts. Also, faculties and sports teams within the university have their own requirement. At the moment local companies are serving renowned Korean universities which include Yonsei University, Seoul National University and Korea University. Product The products required by the university itself are mainly T-shirts, Jackets, Sweatshirts and Tracksuits. These products only require the University logo. For faculties and sports team, the requirement is the logo of their respective department along with the logo of the university itself. These products are already a part of UNIQLO’s product line.
