NAME Hist 213 Sec ### Prof. Garcia DATE Annotated Bibliography 1. Singh, Bhupinder. 1965 War (Role of Tanks in India-Pakistan War) . Patiala: B.C, 1982. Print. The book gives a comprehensive account of the war between Pakistan and India with extensive investigation of all the sectors and battlefields in which heavy artillery was used. Each chapter is about a different battle field, the plans of both armies, their battles and conclusion. The author himself is an expert and a historian. He was awarded a PhD for his research on the role of tanks in Pak-India wars. He has made an in-depth analysis in spite of non-availability of official records concerning the war. His arguments are very convincing and informative. For my paper, this book gives a detailed account of the war and the way it was fought. The plans for both militaries and the conclusion are very important. 2. Jagan, Mohan, and Samir Chopra. The India-Pakistan Air War of 1965 . New Delhi: Manohar, 2005. Print.
