Topics to be covered include dealing with change,increasing self-esteem and motivation, goal setting skills, learning styles, multipleintelligences, memory development, listening skills, note-taking skills, study skills, test-taking, communication and speaking skills, critical thinking skills, and career issues.Information gathered and topics discussed in this course will be useful to facilitategrowth on personal and academic levels. Students will also learn the importance ofunderstanding self, also their emotional responses and articulating their hopes andgoals.The purpose of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to learn and adoptmethods that promote their success in college and life.COURSE OBJECTIVES:Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:1.
