What information about race and ethnicity in the United States has helped you better understand or relate to specific minority groups? I feel as though I have always had an understanding of race and ethnicity because I have a black brother. All though out his high school year he did a lot of reports on his race and ethnicity. I got to help him research these papers sometime so I also can relate to the African-American race as well. While I cannot feel there years of pain they experience though slavery from reading about what they went through. I feel I have a better understanding of what went on in those times than most white Americans. Have you learned something new about your own cultural history? No not really my cultural history is hard to figure out since I have never talked to both of my parents because I have never met my real father. I do now have a major interest in finding my dad and find out what ethnicity

I think the face will be very similar as it is today. Though I also am a firm believer that there will be one race in the future, so I think that all the diversity we have now will eventually just be one culture living together happier. How might the country best prepare for the changing race and ethnicity of its current and future citizens? By accepting the changes and dealing with the continuing changes as they come. Then addressing them in an appropriate manner to avoid the problem that we face now, we must take control of the immigration of illegal aliens. To better life for all Americans but still offer opportunities for people to come to this country....
