1. LexisNexis and Westlaw are both capable of pretty much the same thing; you can search people, articles about people down to newspaper articles about them from their home town. However LexisNexis does not seem to require a membership and Westlaw does. I also read many opinionated articles comparing Westlaw and LexisNexis and lawyers seem to favor LexisNexis over Westlaw. However the judge like figure in the video clip would not be at a deposition, this is just a deposition not a court hearing. It could and would take place in an atmosphere like on the clip and many of the questions and comments compare with a real deposition....
