Homework Assignments and Written Project Reports Written assignments will be evaluated according to the following guidelines. Element in the Assignment A Range B Range C Range Content (50 - 60%) All key requirements in the assignment are covered; content is comprehensive and accurate. Directions are followed. Format requests are followed. The majority of the requirements/tasks of the assignment are covered. Directions are followed. Inaccuracies are few and very isolated. Some of the requirements are missing or are not covered completely. Many inaccuracies. Some formatting errors. Topic (5%) easily identified; feasible; clear; novel approach Promising; may be slightly unclear or lacking in insight or originality May be unclear (contain vague terms), appear unoriginal, or offer relatively little that is new; offers little around which to structure a paper Structure (5-10%) evident, understandable, appropriate for theme; Excellent transitions from point to point; paragraphs support solid topic
