Unit 2 – Assignment 1 2 Unit 2 – Assignment 1 / BUS207 Business Ethics I believe that there should not be a difference between how we judge people for their actions due to their profession. There are actions and consequences for all decisions in any profession. Every person should hold themselves to an ethical standard that allows them to admit honest mistakes and to be held accountable for intentional errors. This follows my belief that the principle of virtues is the best practice for any business. If a medical doctor makes an honest mistake that costs his patients life he is not arrested and put into jail, he is instead held liable and he has to pay the family a settlement for his mistake. This settlement is usually decided in a civil court and the judgment placed on the doctor follows the severity of his mistake. On the other hand, if a medical doctor intentionally does an
