Course Objectives: Media and Society is an issue-based course taught through a series of topic-driven panel discussions, newspaper articles, documentaries and films. Much of what you will be tested on comes from information from actual class discussions; therefore, attendance is key to success in this class! Requirements:w In-Class Exams: There will be two, closed-book in-class examinations. These exams will be based on lecture content, class discussion, in-class films and required reading material. You will not be allowed to make up this exam unless you have a medical emergency with formal documentation signed by a licensed physician....
