Jonathan Stromp 010442335 Homework Assignment #6 1. A point estimator draws inferences about a population by estimating the value of an unknown parameter using a single value or point. Where as an interval estimator draws inferences about a population by estimating the value of an unknown parameter using an interval. An example of using point estimator would be to use the sample mean as your point. If a professor finds the mean of a test to be 80, then 80 would be used for the point estimator.
