Use Pull-down Menu: MOE->File->Open to open file 1flx.pdb in z:/bcmb422/1-13 . Display ribbon and hydrogen bonds. To study the sidechain interactions: Open a new window: MOE->Computer->Biopolymer->Protein Contacts . Then click on Search. Analyses of Interactions in Proteins (1) High light Sidechain-sidechain hydrogen bonding, hydrophobic and ionic interactions in this protein can be listed in the Protein Contacts Window as well as disulfide bonds. You can select the interactions you are interested in (e.g.,hydrophobic interactions) and show them in the SE (action on selected residues) and/or MOE (action on selected atoms) windows and the interaction distances ( Create meters )
