To Drill or Not to Drill? That is the Question 2 On the topic of using 'green' energy or sticking with the old standby of oil and coal, I am not against the development of alternative methods of energy like solar and wind power. I believe for our environment to be saved we need to at least give these options good thought or catastrophic events like oil spills on land and water, and the harsh 'green house' effect from the burning of coal, will continue to kill our plant. Cleaner methods of energy had been a talk for awhile, but on April 20, 2010, the talk and importance of cleaner energy became apparent. The drilling rig Deepwater Horizon was 41 miles of the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico doing a drilling job. The oil rig was technically not even supposed to be in that spot anymore, but the Captain Alwin Landry took on a job to clean up 4,500 gallon drilling mud.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
