After reviewing page 53 of our textbook and from personal experience I would have to say that pop culture does not affect individuality totally. Individuals are who they are, they may want to look or act like one of their favorite pop stars. However, that does not make them who they are inside. I listen to a wide variety of music from rap or pop to classic rock to classical music; it does not make me who I am. I make me who I am and I do not conform to any which way.
