Globalization 5 Globalization in Human Resource Management As organizations grow and expand across borders, oceans and cultures it is important to understand how those changes will affect the nature of our work and our business. We all have grown up differently and while we all have different backgrounds, most of us that grow up in the same general region have the same type of knowledge of the world around us as a whole. It is important to remember that while we have some type of knowledge or this, it isn’t the same as really understanding a different culture.
