There have been several key elements and topics discussed during this class that I feel will make me a stronger candidate to enter the workforce. I am an Accounting major and my goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant. This course, at times, has been quite challenging for me, but in the long run, I have gained so much information from it. The biggest thing I can say as far as what I have learned, is that there is a whole lot more to auditing than most people realize. Before taking this course, I had no idea how detailed everything must be. It makes sense that it should be, but once you see all the pressures auditors face, it makes you realize how tough the job really can be. The biggest thing I think I will take with me is knowing how important it is to understand the professional liability. Every audit must have the auditors name on

At times, I just wanted to throw in the towel. But, I stuck with it, and am happy I did. It made me a stronger student, person, and professional by doing so. It has encouraged me by showing me that if I put my mind to something, I can accomplish it. I tend to be somewhat of a perfectionist and if I cannot figure something out, after several attempts, I generally give up. With this class, however, I did not want to do that. Not only for my grade, but for my education. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed this class, the projects, discussions, and web field trips. It has been challenging, yet very informative. I will take what I have learned in this course with me throughout my career, wherever it may take me....
