Unformatted text preview: is understanding the cost system processes, the journal entries that are included, and the formulas to generate the different material, cost, and labor variances. This course has really been a tough one for me. At times, I just wanted to throw in the towel. But, I stuck with it, and am happy I did. It made me a stronger student, person, and professional by doing so. It has encouraged me by showing me that if I put my mind to something, I can accomplish it. I tend to be somewhat of a perfectionist and if I cannot figure something out, after several attempts, I generally give up. With this class, however, I did not want to do that. Not only for my grade, but for my education. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed this class, the discussions, the textbook exercises, and even the reviews. It has been challenging, yet very informative. I will take what I have learned in this course with me throughout my career, wherever it may take me. 2...
