Making the calculations: (Av = -(Rf/Ri)) = (-2 = -(2k/1k)) Using Multisim, build circuit schematic, simulate circuit with input voltage at 5 sin (2 π 1000 t). Using the same Multisim scope display input waveform on Channel 1and output waveform on Channel 2. Assemble circuit on your proto board. Test bread board circuit as described under Tests. Unformatted text preview: simulation and experimental results. The circuit that was designed and built in lab was an inverted op amp circuit. The circuit that was designed to provide -2 voltage-gain on Multisim and constructed on the breadboard and worked perfectly on both. This provided the desired gain of voltage on Page 1 of 4 the output, which was then determined to be correct when evaluating the output given for the test inputs provided. The biggest trouble I had in constructing the circuit was the actual powering of the chip but once I understood the data sheet and the pin locations it made wiring the circuit simpler.
