Questions for Response Paper 4 Here are some questions you might find useful to create Response Paper 4 on Forrest Gump : From Corrigan, Chapter 6: 1) Corrigan claims on p. 67 that films based on literature now more frequently ‘reinvent’ the literature. In other words, the films are often quite different than the literature in significant ways. Would you say that this is true as you compare and contrast the novel and film Forrest Gump , and why or why not? 2) On the same page, Corrigan notes that leading actors/actresses are now cast because they are “bankable,” implying that they are not particularly well-suited for a certain role.
