Have you ever wondered if technology has saved more lives than it has taken? Technology has both created mankind and destroyed it over the years. I believe (although hard to prove without an official count) it has saved just as many lives as it’s taken. Technology has been around for many centuries in one form or another. It has settled wars when one side was found to be more advanced than the other, even if brutally. On the other hand without technology our medical facilities would be in the dark ages. So, how do you determine if it’s been of benefit to mankind to have the advancements in all fields of technology. Throughout the centuries technology has been prevalent in all of mankind. From the first cavemen to make spears to kill his food instead of using blunt objects like rocks, to the ancient Egyptians who found ways to build massive structures. Where would you start to calculate all the deaths that were caused by technology. Do you start from the first caveman to the present day or just when technology was part of recorded history?
