Lashley, 2 Abstract This paper looks at the problem solving differences between males and females. A short survey was given followed by a problem solving test that was full of patterns and the participant had to tell which part of the figure was next. There were 40 participants to help determine if there was a difference in the problem solving abilities in males and females. SPSS 19.0 was used to help calculate the data showing that there was no difference in males and females when it came to their problem solving abilities.
