After creating your medical family tree, answer the following questions: 1. Why is it important to know your family medical history? It is very important to know your family medical history so you know what runs in your family. A family medical history can identify people with a higher-than-usual chance of having common disorders, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, certain cancers, and diabetes. Also to know what might be heredity and might be in your genes. Now I see the disorders that are influenced by a combination of environmental conditions, and lifestyle choices. 2.
